The Tarpon Springs Police Department Honor Guard Unit is a distinguished team of approximately ten dedicated members who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and pride. Serving in a secondary assignment, these individuals represent not only the department, but the law enforcement profession as a whole, with honor and integrity.
 

The Honor Guard is entrusted with performing ceremonial duties at a variety of events, including promotional ceremonies, memorial services, funerals, parades, and other community functions. Members are responsible for the precise and respectful presentation of the flags of our nation, state, and city, ensuring each ceremony is conducted with dignity and reverence.
 

Through their service, the Honor Guard pays tribute to the legacy, service, and sacrifice of those who have come before us. Their presence at both solemn and celebratory occasions reflects the department’s deep commitment to tradition, respect, and community.
