Tarpon Springs Police Department Dive Team

The Team responds to all underwater emergencies and incidents, which occur in the City of Tarpon Springs. They perform duties such as search and rescue, evidence recovery, etc. The team trains year round, both indoors and out. Training helps members maintain proficiency in underwater navigation, zero visibility diving and the utilization of specialized equipment such as the use of positive pressure full-face masks, dry suits, lift bags, video and still cameras and search lines.
