The Tarpon Springs Police Departments award winning Cops&Kids program provides a safe alternative learning environment for at risk children and is delivered through partnerships with the Juvenile Welfare Board, and the Tarpon Springs Housing Authority. The program is housed out of the Cop&Kids center which was re-built utilizing drug forfeiture funds and Community Volunteers. Offering after school care and summer programs with a strong educational development curriculum coupled with fun activities helps to foster academic and social development. The Tarpon Springs Police Department’s Cops& Kids program is truly “Building a Better Future”.
